Not every furniture job is a full house move, and you shouldn’t have to book one to get a couch off a truck. This service covers the jobs in between: a single piece that needs picked up and delivered, furniture that needs to move within a home you’re already living in, or an old-for-new swap where the last thing you want is two separate trips.
The most common version is a purchase that needs delivering. You found a sectional on Facebook Marketplace, a mattress at a mattress warehouse, or a dining set from a store that doesn’t include white-glove delivery — and now you’re stuck figuring out how a queen mattress or an 8-foot sofa fits in a sedan. It doesn’t. We go get it, wrap it for the ride, and bring it to your door. Same goes for store pickups: plenty of retailers hand you a receipt and a pickup window at a warehouse, not a delivery truck. We’re the delivery truck.
The second version is furniture that’s already yours but in the wrong place. Rearranging a living room, moving a bedroom set between rooms, clearing furniture out of a space before a renovation or a paint job — none of that requires a moving truck or a full crew for a day. It requires two people who know how to get a dresser through a doorway without gouging the frame, booked for the couple of hours the job actually takes.
The third is the swap: new furniture coming in, old furniture going out, ideally in the same visit instead of two separate headaches. Buying a new couch doesn’t mean you also want the old one sitting on your curb for three weeks. We can haul the old piece out — to a donation center if it’s still usable, or off-site if it’s not — while the new one gets carried in and placed.
What does this cost? Same hourly structure as every other job we run: $99/hr for a 2-mover crew, which covers the vast majority of single-item and rearranging jobs. Bigger jobs — a full apartment’s worth of furniture, or pieces that need extra hands for stairs — step up to $149/hr for 3 movers or $199/hr for 4. Truck, blankets, dollies, and straps are included at every tier; there’s no separate equipment rental fee tacked onto a small job. A 3-hour minimum applies on the 2- and 3-mover crews (4 hours on the 4-mover crew), the same as it would for any crew dispatch — you’re paying for the trip and the labor, not just the minutes of actual lifting.
Can you trust the crew with a couch you just paid for, or a mattress you can’t afford to get dirty in transit? We’re a new company, and we’re not going to dress that up with reviews or years-in-business claims we don’t have. What we can tell you is how the job actually runs: hourly pricing you can ask about before booking, equipment included instead of upsold, and a crew that treats a $400 couch with the same care as a house full of furniture.

I only need one couch moved — is that too small a job for you?
No. Single-item pickups are one of our most common jobs. A 2-mover crew and a minimum booking window covers most one-piece deliveries — you’re not paying for a full moving crew you don’t need.
Can you pick up furniture I bought on Facebook Marketplace or from a store?
Yes. Give us the pickup address (a seller’s house, a warehouse, a store loading dock) and the delivery address, and we handle the drive, the lifting, and the protection in between. Some stores require the buyer to schedule pickup within a specific window — let us know the deadline when you book.
Can you take my old furniture away when you drop off the new piece?
Yes — this is a common combo booking. Old couch or mattress goes out, new one comes in, same crew, same visit. Tell us at booking whether the old piece needs to go to a donation center or just off-site.
Is there a minimum charge for small furniture jobs?
Yes — the same minimum that applies to any job needing a truck and crew on-site: 3 hours on our 2-mover ($297) and 3-mover ($447) crews, 4 hours on the 4-mover crew ($796). Single item or full house, the crew and truck still get dispatched, and the minimum is in your contract before you book.
Can you just rearrange furniture I already own within my own house?
Yes. In-home rearranging — moving a sectional to a different wall, swapping bedroom furniture between rooms, clearing a room for renovation — doesn’t require a truck, just the crew and the hourly rate.
