These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of nexthavenmovers.com (the “Site”) and any moving, packing, labor, or storage services you book with Next Haven Movers (“Next Haven Movers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or booking a move, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

Next Haven Movers provides residential and commercial moving, packing, moving labor, storage, and related services within Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County, Florida, as described on ourservices pages.

Quotes & Pricing

Prices shown on the Site (including on our pricing page and moving cost calculator) are estimates based on the information you provide. Your final price is confirmed after we have a full picture of your move — home size, access (stairs/elevator), distance, and any special items. We do not add hidden fees beyond what was disclosed in your confirmed quote.

Local moves are billed hourly by crew size, as stated in your written estimate and contract:

  • 2 movers + truck — $99/hour, 3-hour minimum ($297 labor minimum).
  • 3 movers + truck — $149/hour, 3-hour minimum ($447 labor minimum).
  • 4 movers + truck — $199/hour, 4-hour minimum ($796 labor minimum).
  • Long-distance moves are quoted separately under a custom written quote.

The truck and fuel are included; there is no separate truck fee or fuel surcharge, and no separate stairs, elevator or long-carry fee. Access conditions may increase billable labor time. The first 20 miles are included; additional mileage is $2.00 per mile, measured from the first pickup through the final delivery, including stops you request. Packing labor is billed at your regular crew rate with no second packing-labor charge; consumable packing materials are charged only in itemized quantities at the prices listed on our packing materials page. Heavy and specialty items start at $75 per item, quoted before handling.

Booking, Changes & Cancellation

A $100 reservation deposit is required to hold your moving date and crew. The deposit is applied toward your final moving bill — it is not an additional charge.

  • Cancellation 48 or more hours before your scheduled start: deposit fully refundable.
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the start, same-day cancellation, or no-show: deposit non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling with 48 or more hours' notice: free, subject to availability, with your deposit transferred to the new date.
  • Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice: one complimentary reschedule may be allowed, subject to availability. Additional late rescheduling may require a new $100 reservation deposit.

Changes to the scope of work, crew size or charges must be itemized and agreed in writing before the additional service is performed. Any approved change should be confirmed in writing. These terms remain subject to mandatory refund and deposit rules under applicable law.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your move (size, access, special items) so your quote reflects the actual job.
  • Ensure someone authorized to accept the delivery is present at the agreed time.
  • Disclose any hazardous, illegal, or restricted items before the move.
  • Keep pathways, parking, and elevator/COI arrangements (where required by your building) ready for the crew's arrival.

Licensing & Insurance

Details of our licensing and insurance coverage are published on ourLicenses & Insurance page. Standard released valuation is $0.60 per pound per article, at no additional charge and with no deductible, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Released value is a limitation of mover liability, not replacement-value insurance. Any higher valuation option, if offered, is a separate written agreement stating the valuation, price, deductible and your right to reject it. {{TODO: confirm the required Florida/county valuation disclosure wording with counsel before relying on this section}}

Website Use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to interfere with its normal operation, submitting false information through our forms, or using the Site's content for purposes other than evaluating or booking our services.

Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, and branding on the Site belong to Next Haven Movers unless otherwise noted, and may not be reused without permission.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided “as is.” While we work to keep it accurate and available, we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Next Haven Movers is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site; liability related to the physical moving services themselves is governed by your signed move agreement and our published insurance coverage.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
